Olivia Marsden
Olivia (Ollie) graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (First Class Honours). A well-travelled individual who grew up in Singapore, Ollie is a keen sportswoman, having competed in multiple national and Southeast Asian athletics and swimming competitions. Through her own challenges dealing with sporting injuries, Ollie developed a particular passion for sports, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy.
As a physiotherapist, Ollie has seen a broad variety of clients, ranging from rugby league, AFL, soccer and rugby union players, to gym-goers, crossfitters, swimmers, runners and other fitness enthusiasts. She also has experience with orthopaedic, neurological, cardiorespiratory, paediatric and geriatric populations in private practice, community and hospital settings. Ollie worked as a physiotherapist for the NRL Dolphins Academy and the CHS NSW team at the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships, where she helped manage various acute and chronic injuries, as well as providing on-field care, while working in a team environment with medics, coaches, players and club managers. Ollie also has experience working with the Redcliffe Padres Baseball club.
This friendly, culturally sensitive professional seeks to deliver evidence-based, individually tailored injury and rehabilitation advice and management. Whether providing hands-on treatment, exercise prescription, hydrotherapy sessions or Pilates classes, Ollie strives for excellent care and best practice. When not working, she is an avid scuba diver, gym-goer, TRL-player, NRL-watcher and artist, having illustrated a neuroscience-informed book series.
